long TD bonus = 1-33 yd td is 6, 34-66 is 9, 67-99 yd td is 12.

Crabtree at home vs saints; Garcon at home vs Giants.

Very similar #s for these defenses in week 1. Giants were 6th in passing D giving up 158 yds, 1 TD, 3 INT. Saints were 10th, 162 yds, 1 td, 1 int.

Last season however the Giants gave up many more TDs.
Giants 2009 - 214 yds per game, 31 TDs, 13 INTs.
Saints 2009 - 235 yds, 15 td, 26 ints.

Can pretty much throw out the INT # because Manning doesnt throw that many of them. Alex Smith, on the other hand, was *totally* lost against Seattle in week 1. Even little dumpoff passes were floating on him.

Mainly for that reason (Manning over Smith) I am leaning Garcon even though I originally put in Crabtree to start. Also - Week 1, Garcon had 10 targets as did Reggie Wayne; Crabtree had 8 (pretty much a wash there, but Davis seems like Smiths go to guy with 12 targets)

BTW, in this league i have 2 WR and 2 Flex spots, other 3 starters are Dallas Clark, Hines Ward, Naanee. Eligible on the bench - Crabtree, Hester, Knox, Chambers, Chester Taylor, Laurent RObinson, Marcedes Lewis.

Thanks guys!

Garcon until the 49ers do the smart thing and put in David Carr. I'm tired of Smith's knuckle balls.

Yup Im with u re: Carr

bound to happen, i thought he looked pretty solid in preseason all things considered

thanks for the FB guys

I've always though he could have been very good if he wasn't constantly on his back. A good line and he can excel. Kinda like Drew Bledsoe in a way. Pressure him and he's going down. Give him time and he'll make a nice toss.
